We specialize in light-tackle drift fishing for walleye, but we’re equally equipped for trolling when conditions call for it. We’ll choose the best method for the day’s weather and bite.

Young anglers, seniors, and handicapped guests are always welcome. Our crew is patient, helpful, and focused on making sure everyone gets in on the action.
Consistent results
Our boats average more than 14,000 walleye caught each year, and the Western Basin continues to produce record-setting numbers of quality fish.
Lake Erie Walleye Fishing Charters
Lake Erie’s Western Basin is home to some of the best walleye fishing in the world, and Port Clinton sits at the heart of it. Spring brings trophy-class fish, while summer and fall offer steady action and full coolers.
Best months: April, May, June, July
Trip style: Drift fishing or trolling
What to expect: Light-tackle casting, steady action, and experienced guidance from captains who know these waters inside and out.
2026 Walleye Outlook – Exceptional Fishing Ahead
Lake Erie continues to produce historic walleye hatches. The 2025 hatch was outstanding, adding to a decade of above-average reproduction. Biologists estimate more than 180 million catchable walleye in the lake, many in the 18–28 inch range.
If you’re looking for a year with incredible numbers and quality fish, 2026 is it.
Smallmouth Bass Charters
The reefs and islands of the Western Basin offer world-class smallmouth bass fishing. Five- to seven-pound bass are common, and the structure around the Bass Islands provides ideal habitat.
Best months: July, August, September, October
Trip style: Casting, drifting, and light-tackle action
Why it’s special: Hard-fighting fish, beautiful scenery, and consistent summer and fall action.
Perch Fishing Charters
Yellow perch fishing heats up as waters warm and schools move inshore. Late summer and fall produce the biggest “jumbo” perch, and these trips are perfect for kids and families.
Best months: June through October
What to expect: Lots of bites, steady action, and excellent table fare.
Combo Fishing Trips
Can’t choose just one species? Our combo charters target walleye, perch, and bass depending on conditions and your preferences. The Western Basin reef complex, located right by our marina, makes multi-species days both productive and exciting.
Best months: July, August, September
